Collection: Billie Justice Thomson
Billie Justice Thomson’s work reflects her obsession with the kitsch, nostalgia and iconic food imagery. Her paintings on perspex and drawings reference old shop windows or displays with symbols of domestic simplicity. Really she is playing homage to the kitschy delights of eating, drinking and the day to day miracles of existence.
Billie graduated from the University of South Australia in 2008, where she studied a Bachelor of Visual Art specialising in painting. She has had solo exhibitions held nationally, as well as taking part in numerous group exhibitions. She currently lives and works in Adelaide, South Australia on Kaurna Land.
