Full Moon Arkaroola by NSW artist Eva Beltran - Finalist in the 2024 Heysen Prize for Landscape.

The ruggedly spectacular northern Flinders Ranges (SA) where Arkaroola is located have a geological history reaching back almost 2 billion years. This wilderness sanctuary has been operating since the 60s with a strong emphasis on education and conservation. The unique and ancient landscape radiates a very strong and mysterious “sense of place”, intimately connected with the creation stories of its Traditional Owners.
