Mount Lofty from the Freeway - Jessica Menzies

Mount Lofty from the Freeway by SA artist Jessica Menzies - Finalist in the 2024 Heysen Prize for Landscape. 

My abstract landscape work is heavily inspired by my deep connection with nature, particularly the Adelaide Hills where I have lived my whole life. This work is based on my memory of bushwalking around Mount Lofty with my dad over the years and the view of the hills as I travel down the hill on the freeway.
