"Preciousness is so much more than something sparkly. An unusual plant, a delightful moment, a good book. They aren't expensive and not everyone will recognize their value. It doesn't take many of those special instances to brighten up the day.
Those precious, often fleeting bits of life are the inspiration for my work.
I always had a fascination for the organic shapes and irregularities of nature. I studied nutrition after finishing school and completed the Bachelor of visual arts and applied design in 2009. In a way I bring these together in my art. The body is still at the center, the well being while making and wearing, the continuous finding of what is the right balance.
A journey I'd like to share."
