Collection: Oceanhaze Jewellery
Vanessa Stephens grew up in the Adelaide hills and has also lived for a number of years on the South Australian coast. These places inspire her jewellery brand Oceanhaze Jewellery. She has a Bachelor Degree in Visual Art, an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery Design and Manufacture, and a Bachelor of Education. Vanessa has exhibited her jewellery at London Accessory Week. Her work has been in the Jewellery Designer Profile’s of British Vogue Magazine and Tatler.
Vanessa loves the beauty, texture and structure of shells and incorporates handmade impressions of them into her designs. The pieces are hand-fired or cast from impressions of shells. They are cut, shaped, soldered, textured, assembled and finished by hand in Vanessa’s studio.
Precious metals such as sterling silver and gold are used to create the pieces. She also includes pearls and gemstones that represent the coastal environment.
