Long ago my Ramindjeri people lived along the south coast from Goolwa to Kangaroo Island in family groups in big camps. In the dreamtime Ngurunderi, a great Ngarrindjeri hunter creator, made his way along the coast creating our lands and waterways. As he made camp to rest, he gave us Ramindjeri to live. He showed and gave us ceremony, lore, song, dance, tools, and all we need and have in our ruwi. Ngurunderi created all for us, as he made his way to the milky way to then watch over us. You can still see where he rested and the places he created today.
